We are delighted you are here and look forward to serving you and the local community with farm fresh and sustainable oysters.
The Whiteside family and its contributions to the area date back to the 1800s. Andrew Whiteside's Great Grandfather, George Henry Whiteside was a Steamboat Captain to the Rebecca Everingham in Apalachicola. He also partnered in the founding of Apaplachicola Ice, one of the world's first ice manufacturers after John Gorrie invented refrigeration. The Whiteside family also helped build the local Trinity Episcopal Church in Apalachicola. Years later, the Whiteside family came back to the area and Frank Whiteside, Andrew's father, opened and ran the KOA campground in Eastpoint for many years.
This area and community has always been home for the Whiteside family and we are excited to work together to bring Aquaculture Farming innovations to the area, resulting in farm fresh, high quality and sustainable products and innovations. In partnership with Florida Oyster Trading Company and Riv Capital, LP we believe all of this and more is attainable.

She served in many leadership roles within the Ronald McDonald House of Alabama including President of their Junior Board and helped in raising thousands of dollars to support their mission and help keep families together and close to hospital care in times of need.
In pursuing growth into the Oyster Industry, Aaron plans to use those skills to help market the company and its mission. Building relationships with those in the local community and also expanding the network and awareness of the brand. She will be an asset to the industry and her unique and creative skill set will allow them to set themselves apart in the Aquacultural Industry.
